Banana Bread Recipe by Reverend Chris

I always have over-ripe bananas, so this is a great way to keep from wasting them. You could go with artificial sweetener in the recipe, but I use sugar because my doggie loves the stuff too.

I also like to switch it up with sugar, brown sugar, molasses and/or honey. Molasses is my favorite, but sometimes I put vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg & all kinds of nuts. You just can’t go wrong with this bread.

    • preheat oven to 350º
    • mash the bananas until smooth but a little chunky
    • mix in the butter, sugar & eggs
    • mix in the flour, baking soda & salt.
    • pour into a greased loaf pan
    • you can drizzle with butter & add nuts & a sprinkle of sugar
    • bake at 350 for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean
